At The Root Ball, our journey begins with a passion for the environment and a commitment to nurturing our planet. Our team comprises dedicated environmentalists and backyard perfectionists, working tirelessly to create a sustainable future.

Our Founder, Nyck Hawk’s love for nature began early. His first landscaping job at the age of 8 years old cultivated a true outdoorsman. Following in his father’s footsteps with an appreciation for the environment, Nyck went on to perform habitat restoration work nationwide.

Now, Nyck has focused his vision on :”The Forest”, 10+ acres of woodlands and wetlands in Paulding County, GA. On this land, he started the first phase of memorial orchard and garden in honor of his father. Soon, the orchard will expand from peaches, apples, blackberries and grapes to include figs, pecans and other edible offerings—including chickens, quails and more!
